Barrikote™ for recyclable barrier coatings
Imerys Barrikote™ water-based barrier formulation for recyclable packaging applications including hot and cold cups. Barrikote™ water-based formulations create a recyclable barrier for paperboard, the new green alternative solution to PE-lined paper cups, straws and cup liners.

Mica MU™ M2/1 is a highly lamellar mica grade with a 20µm top cut. Mica MU™ M2/1 provides excellent performance in solvent- and water-based primer applications requiring superior stain-blocking.
Engineered minerals for flame retarded ETP
Imerys has developed a full range of engineered mica, kaolin clay and wollastonite reinforcement agents for use pure or in combination with glass fiber in engineering thermoplastics which are increasingly used in under-the-hood parts and for intumescent flame retarded electrical and electronic applications.

Environmentally friendly porcelain ceramic tiles
RR-1 is a ball clay designed to maximize green strength in porcelain ceramic tiles minimizing the use of less environmentally friendly binders. It is also processed to minimize energy. Crudes are stored in a way to maximize natural drying resulting in minimized mechanical drying.
